  • What is included in the property rental?

    The cost charged for your stay is for the property only and covers the 48-acre gated estate, Estate House, and any fees listed on your reservation (such as cleaning or service fees).


    Any additional gathering-specific needs — such as table and chair rentals, planning services, catering, or other arrangements — are not included and will need to be coordinated independently by the host.


  • What amenities are included with my stay?

    Your rental includes exclusive use of the Estate House, outdoor grounds, and all on-site amenities during your stay. Third-party planning support, outdoor adventures, and other specific requests can be tailored to your exact needs through our concierge team.

  • Is McNelly Farms a full-service property?

    No. McNelly Farms is not a full-service property and does not provide in-house planning or management services. We offer short-term rental of the entire property for private use, allowing guests to host their own gatherings in a setting that fits their needs.


    Our team will gladly provide recommendations and suggestions for trusted local partners who can assist with planning, rentals, catering, and other services upon request.

  • How do I book a gathering at McNelly Farms?

    All private gatherings begin with a short-term rental booking of the entire 48-acre gated property on McNellyFarms.com. This serves as our master reservation calendar for overnight stays and hosted gatherings, ensuring exclusive access and no overlapping bookings. Each booking reserves your dates for up to 20 guests total (including both overnight and additional event attendees).

  • Is an overnight stay required to host a gathering?

    Yes. All hosted gatherings at McNelly Farms require an overnight booking. This ensures you have exclusive use of the property and the flexibility to prepare, celebrate, and unwind at your own pace. The overnight stay transforms your gathering into a destination-style experience unlike any traditional event venue.

  • What if I don’t need the overnight accommodations?

    The overnight stay is required, but it’s one of the features that makes McNelly Farms unique. Many hosts use the Estate House to accommodate VIP guests or close family, as the guest rooms are private and separate from main gathering spaces — providing convenience, privacy, and comfort for everyone.

  • How many guests can be included in my booking?

    • Up to 20 guests: Included in the pricing of your overnight booking.
    • Up to 99 attendees: Adding The Stables is required. The Stables is a fully conditioned indoor space ideal for hosting larger celebrations or receptions. A two-night weekend stay and use of The Stables typically averages approximately $10,000 ±, depending on setup and needs.
    • 100+ attendees: Pricing varies based on layout, tents, and any additional safety or regulatory requirements.

    A custom quote and property-use agreement will be provided after booking for larger gatherings.


  • Can I host multiple gatherings in one stay?

    Yes. We encourage guests to make the most of their stay and plan it like a destination gathering. For example, you might host a rehearsal and dinner on Friday night, followed by the wedding and reception on Saturday evening. You’ll only pay for the additional guest fees associated with the larger of the two gatherings, not both.

  • What is the payment schedule?

    After booking, email concierge@mcnellyfarms.com to confirm your event details and receive a tailored proposal.


    • Overnight stays (Estate House only): A $1,000 deposit is charged at booking (even if the full total appears). The remaining balance is charged 30 days before arrival, and deposits are fully refundable until then.
    • Events including The Stables: A larger deposit and an estimated guest count are required at booking. The full balance is due 60 days before the event and becomes non-refundable at that time.

  • Can I tour the property before booking?

    Because McNelly Farms is available to reserve 365 days per year and each stay includes the entire property, private tours can’t be scheduled in advance of a booking.


    We reserve private tours exclusively for guests who have made a $1,000 refundable deposit (refundable up to 30 days before your stay). If securing your dates is not a priority, we host a limited number of public Open House dates throughout the year, which are announced periodically for group tours and questions.
